Areas Served
Rachel currently offers both home and office visits. For all clients choosing a home birth, we will meet in your home at your 36 or 37 week visit to review plans for your birth and to ensure all members of your birth team are familiar with the layout of your home. All postpartum visits in the first week of your baby’s life will be done in your home regardless of birth location.
Rachel is able to attend births in the following areas:
Ventura County: All of Ventura County, including Simi Valley, Moorpark, Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, Oak Park, Newbury Park, Camarillo, Somis, Santa Paula, Fillmore, Port Hueneme, Oxnard, Silverstrand, Ventura, Oak View, and Ojai.
Los Angeles County: Parts of L.A. County, including Santa Clarita, Newhall, Valencia, Castaic, Canyon Country, Palmdale, Lancaster, Chatsworth, Canoga Park, Agoura Hills, West Hills, Calabasas, Woodland Hills, Granada Hills, Northridge, Winnetka, Tarzana, Reseda, Encino, North Hills, Sherman Oaks, Panorama City, Van Nuys, Valley Village, Studio City, Mission Hills, Sylmar, San Fernando, Pacoima, Sun Valley, Sunland, Tujunga, Topanga, Malibu, Burbank, Universal City, and North Hollywood.
Santa Barbara County: The southern part of Santa Barbara County, including Carpenteria, Summerland, Santa Barbara, and Goleta.
Rachel is occasionally able to offer services to clients outside of these areas depending on the circumstances. She is also happy to refer you to a doula, monitrice, or midwife closer to you!
